After dinner last night, we went for a walk to see our area’s main attraction: the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. Only a couple of miles from the lodge, the canyon is gorgeous, complete with the 308-foot-tall Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River.
On the way back, our group stopped and had a fun impromptu snowball fight - a rare treat for a Texan.
The scenery is beautiful? it is starting to get hot here in Houston; a snowball fight sounds magical. Was your first walk very steep/difficult? What kind of jobs are you going to do? What kind of food are they serving you. I'm sorry that my comments aren't as witty as the other ones that you have received. I'm enjoying your blog and the comments.
ReplyDeleteThe first walk was an easy one - pretty flat.
ReplyDeleteWe'll be serving food, bringing fresh food from the kitchen to the serving area, and busing tables. We served a little bit of dinner to some co-workers tonight, and it was surprisingly fun.
Just when I though you guys couldn't get more adorable.
